Glider Weekend

26 July - 27 July

The British Gliding Association will be on site with a display including a one seater glider in the Visitor Centre and short dvd. Wrekin and Staffordshire Gliding Clubs are offering visitors the chance to buy trial flights for £50 lasting up to 20mins. This will be available from 10.00am to 3.00pm both days.

**Please note this activity is weather permitting.**

Breakfast Club Meet

27 July - 27 July

The Breakfast Club Meet is being held on Sunday 27th July, from 9.00am to 12.00pm. Around 100 cars from a variety of Clubs across the country are expected. Clubs must be pre registered with the organiser.

August Activities

1 August - 31 August

These family activities run from Friday 1st - Sunday 31st August 2008. All materials will be supplied by the Museum and it is completley FREE to take part.

Monday - Peg Dolls. Make a "favourite" toy for girls in the 1940's, the peg doll, using scaps of materials and ribbons.

Tuesday - Camouflage Masks. Learn about the art of camouflage by making masks that will blend into any background.

Wednesday - Gliders and Parachutes. Make and colour in paper gliders and parachutes.

Thursday - Drill and Natonal Service. The entire family is invited to fall in and experience the discipline of National Service by taking part in drills run by two ex-RAF Drill Instructors.

Friday - Recycled Rockets. Make your own rocket from recycled plastic and cardboard.

Saturday/Sunday (Bank Holiday Monday) - Spy Trail, Moon Machines and Cosford Summer Fun Quiz

Sessions run from 10.30am - 12.30pm and 1.30pm - 3.30pm.

Jaguar Drivers' Club Car Rally

3 August - 3 August

The annual Jaguar Drivers' Club Meet is being held on Sunday 3rd August, from 10.00am to 4.00pm. Up to 100 Jaguars are expected from South Staffordshire and the West Midlands.

National VW Scirocco Register Car Rally

23 August - 23 August

The National VW Scirocco Register meet is being held on Sunday 23rd August, from 10.00am to 4.00pm. Over 50 cars are expected from across the country.

Breakfast Club Meet

7 September - 7 September

The Breakfast Club Meet is being held on Sunday 7th September, from 9.00am to 12.00pm. Around 100 cars from a variety of Clubs accross the country are expected. Clubs must be pre registered with the organiser.
