The first United Kingdom airline meals are cooked on board Imperial Airways'
luxury 'Silver Wing' flights from London to Paris. Agalley
is fitted into the rear of the fuselage of the Armstrong Whitworth Argosy
aircraft operating the service.

Imperial Airways introduces the World's first 1st and 2nd class fares
on its London to Paris route. First class passengers could travel on 'Silver
Wing' Armstrong Whitworth Argosy aircraft with a steward service for £9
and second class passengers by Handley Page aircraft with no steward,
